Lanes
Introduction
The Lanes page provides the ability to adjust the rule behaviour on a per lane basis. This includes:
Whether a lane is monitored by the rule
Whether the rule should ignore queues in selected lanes
Whether queue suppression or inversion (see Advanced) is enabled in the selected lanes
This provides a great deal of flexibility to ensure the rule is only operator where and when you need it to. By default all lanes are enabled and will honour queues and suppression.

Lane Configuration
Enable: Include this lane for consideration by the rule. If a lane is disabled this rule will not raise any alarms anywhere in this lane along the length of the carriageway.
Ignore Queues: By default if a section is in queue then all rules are suppressed in that section. If you enabled this option then the rule will still generate alarms in the selected lanes, even if a section is in queue.
Apply Suppression: This option is enabled by default and will apply the selected mode configured on the Advanced page. If disabled, the suppression or inversion logic is not applied, so this rule will have no impact in the selected lanes.
