UI Stream
Introduction
The UI can be streamed and recorded as video, like a camera stream, through an Enabled PPI Pane. For more details, see UI Recording.
Contents
Stream Enabled: Select to convert the UI window into a video stream. This means we can send the UI to a Video Management System and it can be recorded alongside the cameras to provide a complete replay capability. An intruder can therefore be reviewed through the camera feed and UI recording of the PPI simultaneously.Â
Stream Protocol: Choose from RTSP or HTTP.
Hide Source Window: Select to minimise the PPI Pane the UI is being streamed/recorded from without ending the recording.
Stream Port:Â The port number of the stream.
The time period between stream updates is set via the UI Update Interval in User Settings. Please refer to Advanced User Interface | Advanced User Interface. This ensures that the capture rate of the user interface matches the rate at which is updated.
