Version 4.11.0 Build 1003 - 18 July 2023

Orca Tracker 4.11.4.268 Release Notes - NavOS 32-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.268 Release Notes - NavOS 64-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.268 Release Notes

Fixes

  • TUN-6043 - Fixed the PiP viewers so they no longer rotate when the main PPI is rotated.

  • TUN-6126 - Fixed the Suppress New feature that was not working correctly for track based rules which includes the debris and stopped vehicles rules. This feature will now suppress new alarms correctly and therefore will not generate unwanted false alarms.

Version 4.11.0 Build 1001 - 13 February 2023

Orca Tracker 4.11.4.268 Release Notes - NavOS 32-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.268 Release Notes - NavOS 64-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.268 Release Notes

Improvements

  • TUN-5892 - Added a new health check to the AID rule engine which ensures a carriageway section allocation and coverage map is being used. If the map is not present a health alarm will be raised for the Track Engine and a repeated request will be made to the Management Server to send the map.

Fixes

  • TUN-5868 - Fixed an infrequent scenario where a final track sighting can be displayed at 0,0 in the UI instead of at the correct last position of the track. This only impacts the display.

  • TUN-5898 - Fixed the issue which was causing errors when upgrading an older config which contained carriageways that had their start nodes removed at some point during user editing. This fix now prevents the removal of carriageway start nodes and has logic to handle older configs where the start nodes were removed.

Version 4.11.0 Build 1000 - 06 February 2023

Orca Tracker 4.11.4.268 Release Notes - NavOS 32-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.268 Release Notes - NavOS 64-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.268 Release Notes

Improvements

  • TUN-5819 - Added the configuration option to allow the original mode of traffic statistics collection which double counts in overlapped areas.

  • TUN-5846 - Added new suppression option for alarms to ensure we maintain alarms that occur in a section just before a queue is reported. In this new mode alarms which are active before the queue is reported will not supressed, any new alarms after the queue has been reported will be suppressed as before. The new mode is accessed through the rule suppression settings.

  • Improved the custom date selection dialog for the playback to allow longer time windows.

Fixes

  • TUN-5878 - Fixed the manual radar log fetching mode to ensure it works with user-defined schedules.

  • TUN-5623 - Fixed the track CSV export to show per sighting FA probability correctly.

Note that although the playback search window can be increased, the data fetched is still limited by the maximum record cap. If a user selects a very large search window its unlikely that all the records will be returned so further filtering criteria may be required.

Version 4.11.0 Build 991 - 23 November 2022

Orca Tracker 4.11.4.264 Release Notes - NavOS 32-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.264 Release Notes - NavOS 64-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.264 Release Notes

Improvements

  • TUN-5787 - Added an option to disable automatically capturing logs when a tracker connects.

    • Tracker version number/details are still collected as usual - this change only impacts log collection.

Fixes

  • Added additional exception handling for some edge cases when deleting or saving tracks.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause statistics to be incorrectly calculated in locations where radars overlap.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause the playback simulator to send sightings with duplicate ids from different radars.

Version 4.11.0 Build 987 - 15 November 2022

Orca Tracker 4.11.4.264 Release Notes - NavOS 32-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.264 Release Notes - NavOS 64-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.264 Release Notes

Improvements

  • Deployed a new tracker which can recover from internal network failures on the HDR100 series when using the on-board module.

Fixes

  • TUN-5769 - Fixed an issue with the Track Filter Command which was using the incorrect point of origin on the view port rectangle.

  • TUN-5797 - Fixed an issue where in certain conditions the ICD-001 plugin would generate duplicate reports.

  • Fixed an issue when retrieving logs from the radar using a schedule which would fail randomly.

Version 4.11.0 Build 983 - 23 September 2022

Orca Tracker 4.11.4.259 Release Notes - NavOS 32-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.259 Release Notes - NavOS 64-Bit Tracker 4.11.4.259 Release Notes

New Features

  • TUN-5668 - Added RF Health alarm support so AG can raise alarms in the event that the radar reports an unhealthy RF status. This has been added to support the new RF Health monitoring feature in the 3.1.x and later versions of the radar firmware.

Improvements

  • TUN-5494 - Improved the section filter buttons on the playback tab to show on the section number so the value can be easily read. The section name has now been moved to the tooltip for each section button.

  • TUN-5538 - Updated missing French translations and translations which were too long.

  • TUN-5684 - Updated the radar → section allocation logic to ensure the same central calculation is used for both section statistics and Traffic Analysis (TA). This included an improvement to exclude radar which are not currently allocated to a Track Engine.

  • Improved the backup routine to reduce the memory footprint when backing up large collections such as the FA Track collection.

Fixes

  • TUN-5559 - Fixed upgrade issue which was causing the primary rule speed filter value to be reset to 0 after a full software and database upgrade.

  • TUN-5586 - Added unit label to the Clutter Map Decay setting.

  • TUN-5658 - Fixed the wiper control on the RVX2 camera driver.

  • TUN-5684 - Fixed the Traffic Analysis (TA) processing logic to ensure it only single counts when several TA areas fall within the range of more than 1 radar, even when on different carriageways.

  • TUN-5590 - Fixed an issue with the AutoQueue settings that allowed the user to enter meaningless values which in turn caused the queue and alarm logic to behave erratically.

  • Fixed an issue with the Dallmeier driver where it was not being explicitly set as a static camera which meant the FOV was not being displayed.

  • Fixed issue related to having a large collection of False Alarm tracks to support the ML clustering logic. The fetching of tracks by the TE is now delayed after initial connection to the MS and all data is fetched in batches to minimise the memory usage. Memory will still spike during this process but it will remain within the recommended specification for the MS OS.

  • Fixed an issue with TLS blocking in ICD-001 when a client tries to connect without TLS enabled.

Due to adding new validation to the carriageway global settings to ensure the AutoQueue parameters are sensible, following an upgrade, the carriageway may prevent you from saving changes until these parameters are updated. This can happen even if you are not using the AutoQueue feature. Typical values for the AutoQueue settings are:

  • Auto Queue Detection Window: 3

  • Auto Queue Section Count: 1

Due to the minor delay in loading the FA tracks when a Track Engine starts, there will be a small delay before FA confidence values are applied to live track sightings. In reality due to the time it takes for the Track Engine and the Tracker to full initialise on first start, this delay should not be noticeable.
