Thea Version 1.8.0.0

New Features

  • Added feature to estimate radar coverage based on google elevation data.

Thea Version 1.7.0.0

New Features

  • When creating an area, you are now given the option in the editor to choose the thickness of the stroke used.  That can be useful when you want to draw attention to a particular area as it will stand out more than the other areas.

  • When editing an area, you can now set the alpha of the colour and it will not affect the stroke of the area.  This can be useful when you want to create what appears to be a perimeter but in actual fact is an area.

  • The perimeter object now draws above areas and radars, making it stand out more.

  • Multiple groups.  Thea can now support multiple companies, so when a user is assigned a group, they will not see, and conversely no one else can see their projects.

Thea Version 1.6.0.0

New Features

  • The Dashboard now allows you to filter projects by project name and description.

  • The Dashboard by default will now only show you your own projects.  You can still see all public projects by selecting the option All Projects.

Improvements

To minimise accidentally moving an area while editing, you must now press the Ctrl Key as well as hold down the left mouse button to drag an area.

Thea Version 1.5.0.0

New Features

  • When using the map, there is a new button labelled Ruler, which will display two markers on the map.  You can drag these around to measure the distance between two points on the map, rather than placing a radar down to guess the distance.

  • When creating a Read only link, we now show the Project Name and Scenario Name next to the exclamation, so it is easier for customers who receive multiple scenarios to tell them apart.

  • On the Map page, the project name is displayed at the bottom of the map.

Improvements

In both Trace mode and Read only mode, the radars now show precisely where the centre of the radar is.  These also scale correctly on the map, so they are always visible.

Thea Version 1.4.0.1

New Features

  • When creating a project using the new project page.  You can now search for a location using Lat-Lng co-ordinates.  The format to use is like the following. 1.0, 1.0
If this is a valid set of co-ordinates.  The map will position itself at the new location.

  • When editing a radar, area or perimeter the editor panel now resizes itself to reflect the amount of space available.

  • You can now edit the name of scenario, delete a scenario or copy a scenario.

Improvements

When adding a new area or perimeter the label of an existing area used to stop the drawing of a polygon.  This has now been fixed.

Thea Version 1.3.0.1

New Features

  • When creating an Area, there is now an option to make it an obstruction.  If it is not an obstruction, it will become a perimeter.

  • All Perimeters by default now show in the colour red.  All Areas are drawn in the default of yellow.

  • You can now delete points from an Area in edit mode.  Simply right click on the point in question and it will be deleted.

Improvements

  • When selecting a Perimeter in the object list, the map will 'pan-to' the location, making it easier to spot the Perimeter you are editing.

  • Areas are drawn on top of Radars, so when editing, it is easy select the are you wish to edit.

  • Map labels for Radars and Areas now show on top of all other objects, making them stand out.

  • When editing Area, Radar and Perimeters, the size of the name field has been increased to show more text.

  • When selecting an object in the list and pressing the delete button will now correctly delete the selected object.

Thea Version 1.1.0.0

New Features

  • The Read Only option has been improved and you can now create a scenario with an expiry time of 1, 2, 10 or 30 days.

  • If two or more users access a project, the other users will be notified that it is being opened for editing at the same time.

Improvements

  • When switching to editing mode, the areas do not by default now show edit points.  When selected, the area will change to show anchor points, and can then be edited.  This change was done, as when there are a large number of areas to in a particular scenario, the website would look like it had crashed.

  • The website now consumes less memory on the users machine.

  • We have improved the rendering speed when tracing the areas.
