For a Radar mounted to a bracket which is attached to a rigid structure, the bracket needs to have torsional stiffness such that the radar will exhibit less than 0.5° movement in any axis when exposed to the full range of expected wind and traffic loadings
The same torsional stiffness requirements apply for pole mounted radars, with the additional requirement that the bending stiffness of the mounting pole is specified such that predicted wind loads will not cause displacement more than 10mm from the nominal position.
