User - Radar Hardware
Introduction
The Radar Hardware page allows you to update the hardware details of the radar. Typically this would happen if a radar has been serviced and updated.

Radar Hardware
The read-only fields are:
Model: The model name of the radar.
Lens Type: The name of the lens type used on the radar.
Orientation: The position of the radar; either normal (upright) or hanging.
Boss Angle: The boss angle is the angle of the dish or lens inside the radome. This is adjustable depending on the application.
Range Filter Type: This specifies the type of hardware range filter fitted to the radar:
Standard CTS: This is the default filter for all CTS radars.
120sq.m v1.0: This is a hardware filter based on testing with a 1200sqm target.
Build Date: The date the radar was built.
Front End: Serial number of the front end transmitter / receiver.
Daughter Board: Serial number of the optional expansion board. This will not be present in all radar models.
Digital Board: Serial number of the main radar PCB.
Radar: The serial number of the radar.
Service Due: This is the date that the next radar service is due. This date is updated on each service.
Range Gain / Range Offset: Our industrial units have their range calibrated in the factory. This calibration process configures the Range Gain and Range Offset so that they are perfectly aligned for each unit. Therefore, these settings should not be changed.
SafeGuard UI: This shows if the SafeGuard UI is enabled or disabled. This is an optional feature that is subject to it’s own software licence.
PoE Fitted: If PoE (Power over Ethernet) is selected then the radar has the necessary hardware to be powered over the network connection, assuming appropriate PoE networking equipment is being used.
Apply: This option will apply the settings to your system and will remain in use until the radar is rebooted.
Store Defaults: This option will store the values in an EEPROM in the radar hardware. This means that if the storage fails or if we have to change the storage, this information is always persisted and stays with the hardware.
Cancel: This will cancel any changes made.
