  • Version 4.12 is developed using the .NET 6 development stack which is now a mandatory pre-requisite for the entire software suite.

  • The applications now support cross-platform deployment on Windows and Linux, however none of the applications have been tested on Linux and currently there is no deployment mechanism other than the Windows installer. Full Linux support for the back-end services is planned for future releases.

  • Key underlying technology has also been upgraded or replaced to ensure the platform can support new features such as the latest Mobile Client. Despite extensive testing, this increases the risk when upgrading from older versions. It is recommended that existing installations are upgraded to the latest version of 4.11 before upgrading to 4.12.Version 4.12.0 Build 851 - 5 September 2023

  • Improvements to the UI streaming feature mean that you must now always switch off streaming in a PPI window before activating another window. In addition, any changes to the streaming protocol or network port in the user settings will cause the streaming server to stop and the user must be re-activate the feature.

  • This version includes a new code signing certificate and therefore requires a new root certificate. This is handled automatically on systems with an internet connection but the root certificate must be installed manually on systems without internet connectivity. Instructions can be found here.
