RAS3 Prototype Loan
A RAS3 prototype loan radar will be provided in a robust box as shown below If the box is secured by a padlock, the code to release the padlock will be the four digit serial number of the supplied radar. If you need this number, please contact industrial.automation@navtechradar.com.
The following items make up the Prototype Loan kit. Please be sure to check that everything is packed back in to the box before shipping the kit back to us at the end of any loan period.
Navtech Radar model RAS3-DEV-M or RAS3-DEV-X
The model variant most suited to your proposed application will be discussed in advance of any demonstration kit being shipped to you. Typically, the “X” model is supplied for applications where the radar will be mounted at >3m above ground level, in situations where consistent radar coverage of objects on the ground is required, with the minimal possible blind-spot. The RAS3-DEV-M model is typically supplied for applications where the radar will be mounted on a vehicle, close to ground level, or for process monitoring applications, industrial collision avoidance projects, or using the Navtech Radar inbuilt SafeGuard application.5m combined radar power and network lead
The supplied cable is terminated with a radar specific D38999 connector, RJ45 connector for networking, and bare (tinned) wire for a power connection.Fixings pack
A selection of M8 stainless steel fixings will be supplied within the prototype loan kit to secure the radar within a customer’s test environment.
At the end of a loan period, please repack the box and secure it with a padlock if one was supplied. The box should be shipped back to:
