This section labels the main aspects of the ClearWay™ Mobile Client display.

The behaviour of the ClearWay™ Mobile Client will reflect the configuration of the ClearWay™ application. For example; a user logged into the Mobile Client will have the same permissions as in the main application. Unlike the main Windows application, these permissions cannot be set using the Mobile Client, they must be configured in the main client.



System Menu: Opens or closes the System Menu.

User: The logged in user.

Role: The user’s role.

Schematic Control: This allows you to choose between Live, Statistics or Playback options as well as the controls necessary for managing them.

Schematic: This is a simplified view of the carriageway, which includes approximate placements of the radar along it. You can scroll your mouse to change the size and selected sections of the schematic.

System Profile: The current selected System Profile. This also acts a selector so the user can change the current profile. System Profiles

PPI Navigation Control: Controls to help navigate around the map display, including pan (if the Home Style is set to Full) and return to the origin.

Alert Overview: If enabled, the Live Alarm Alert icon (bell shape), icon will be displayed in a coded, solid colour if there are alarms. If there are no alarms, then the shape will have a black outline.

Display Options: You can choose views between the Dashboard, Map, System Alarms and Live Alarms.

PPI Map Display: This is the primary map display that provides operators situational awareness across their entire site, offering real time information on targets and incidents.

Clicking on will open the System Menu:

This will open or close a moveable dialogue to navigate to parts of the site. There is a find / filter option to locate an entry quickly:

Double-clicking an entry will automatically move the map to show the location of the entity.

This offers the following map styles:

Map: The default Google road map.

Satellite: Google road map with the Google satellite overlay.

Terrain: The Google terrain map.

OSM: An alternative road map provided by Open Street Map.

This allows the choice of a simple or full PPI Navigation Control:

Simple: The user can navigate using keyboard or mouse and return to the origin:

Full: The user can also navigate around the map using the pan arrows:

These fields display the logged in User name and their Role and are static.

To logout of the system, open the System Menu to access the Logout button:

It is possible to change the System Profile:

  1. Selecting one of the entries:

  2. This will open the Change System Mode or Change System Profile dialogue:

  3. The operator can then quickly change the Profile as required.
