Introduction

These release notes cover AdvanceGuard® V4.9 and above.

This version of AdvanceGuard® has a new Mobile Server based on the new .Net Core 3.1 application framework. This framework is now a prerequisite but is included with the installer.

Please note that version 4.9 of AdvanceGuard® requires a new licence when upgrading. To create the new licence ensure you use the equivalent version of the Licencing Tool.
Please be aware that the licencing tool will try and upgrade the configuration, if after applying the licence the system does not still licence correctly, a new licence configuration will need to be created.

  • TUN-4253 - Added Google API Key option to the Mobile Server configuration so different keys can be used by customers and partners

  • TUN-4200 - Improved the Breach Line rule check so if a track re-crosses the breach line before the break limit is reached the break count is automatically reset or decremented if using an allowance curve

Fixes

  • TUN-4199 - Fixed global tracker playback controls so that they show and hide appropriately when one or more radar are configured for playback

  • TUN-4163 - Fixed a significant issue when using plugins for external communication (ICD-001, OPC & Modbus) where alarms were not being switched off even when the main application has closed them

  • Fixed an issue when removing a Management Server and it would not be removed from the System Topology

  • Fixed an issue where the UI restarts due to a connection error and does not honour the language option

  • TUN-3969 - Added new Filtered Property check which can check aggregated track property values inside an area. This provides the option of asking “what area has each track covered within alarm zone 1” or “what was that track’s average speed in alarm zone 2”?

  • TUN-3992 - Added new Break Count link node to provide a unified break count on a group of checks.

  • The Mobile Server has been replaced with a new technology stack based on .NET Core. This provides a more highly integrated solution and removes the dependency on Node as a separate web server application.

  • TUN-3941 - Added a new radial menu to Web UI to improve ease of use.

Improvements

  • TUN-3985 - Ensured the ESC key clears the selection of camera height sectors.

  • Added a new filter option to only send Echodyne sightings classified as drone above the specified confidence line.

  • TUN-3987 - Improved the Genetec plugin by creating required alarms in Security Center if they do not exist when they are first raised in Witness.

  • Added the Application Id to Genetec plugin to allow for use with a Security Center development licence.

  • Improved debug logging for ONVIF cameras including the ability to identify individual cameras responsible for raising errors.

  • Added the minimum delay setting to the camera mechanical details on the user interface.

  • TUN-4011 - Added option to clear breaking track histories when the related alarm is acknowledged.

Fixes

  • TUN-3984 - Ensured the camera sector height selection is cleared on save or cancel.

  • TUN-3997 - Fixed validation error box showing on Echodyne radar areas when editing the configuration.

  • TUN-4015 - Fixed an issue when a camera viewer is deleted and the viewer drop down on the Camera Info Panel is not updated.

  • TUN-4048 - Fixed multiple duplicated camera lock options appearing on the radial menu.

  • TUN-4050 - Fixed issue where tracks disappeared and reappeared periodically in the UI (more prevalent in ClearWay).

  • Fixed an issue with Bosch 7000 & 9000 series cameras where we were sending the wrong command for wiper control.

For the Genetec Plugin improvement, although the plugin will create the alarm entities in Security Center, these alarms still need to be modified for both permissions and associated cameras. Please refer to the Genetec Security Center Plugin for more information.
