This page covers the Auto-Section Wizard. Each carriageway is divided in sections for the purposes of AID detection and reporting, as well as equal carriageway segment allocation to individual radar.

Configuring Auto-Section
The Auto-Section Wizard can be found by:
Under the Config tab, select the carriageway you wish to auto-section.
Go to the Edit button, select, and then open up the Actions drop-down.
Select Auto-Section.
The Wizard will present you with three variables:
Section ID: The number ID of the initial section (either at the start or the end of the carriageway), from which the rest will follow on, increasing numerically. By default, this will be 1. e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.
Section Length: The length you wish all the sections to be configured to. By default, this will be 100m.
Start from (Start/End): Whether the initial section, from which all other sections shall increase numerically, is at the beginning or the end of the carriageway. By selecting Start, the section IDs will increase numerically from left to right, whereas selecting End means they will increase numerically from right to left.
In this example, the upper carriageway has been configured to Start from: End with a Section ID of 1, in order for the section IDs of each carriageway to run parallel to one another:
