Area Rule with Filtered Property Check
Introduction
The Area Rule with a Filtered Property Check will check the properties of a target only whilst it is within the area defined by the Area Check. This has no additional benefit for point in time properties such as the target's current speed or size, however for properties which are calculated over several sightings, such as average speed or area covered, this is extremely useful. This filtered check ensures these properties are only evaluated for sightings inside the area. In this example, if a target’s Area Covered property is greater then 20 meters whilst the track is within the area then an alarm is raised and a camera is tasked to follow the target.
