Introduction

System Profiles can be used to create a global change of your Tracking Parameters, so you do not have to change each Tracking Parameters' Settings individually. By assigning different sets of Tracking Parameters changes to profiles, it is very easy for the operator to toggle between different Tracking sensitivities.

A typical use of the system profile would be to de-sensitise the tracking during bad weather in order to reduce false alarms. It provides a system level configuration change which the operator can easily switch on and off. System profile settings can be applied to one or more tracking parameters; providing a very flexible solution.

It is important to note that a Tracking Parameter Profile is a Δ delta change. The default system profile has values all of 0, so the individual Tracking Parameter Settings are true to the values input. A Tracking Parameter Profile's values do not overrule the individual Tracking Parameter Settings but instead adjust them. Thus a positive or negative value can be included in a Tracking Parameter.

Changing Profiles

To find available profiles and change between different System Profiles, you can use either use the Profile shortcut or go through the System Menu.

Shortcut

  1. Find the Profile button in the top right hand corner of the UI, and select the current profile - in this example, Default.
  2. Use the Profile drop down to select a new profile.
  3. Select OK to save, and change profiles.

System Menu

  1. Go to System Menu>Settings>System Settings>System Profiles.
  2. Available profiles are listed in the System Profiles table.
  3. In Edit mode, select a profile from the Current Profile Name dropdown, then select Save. The System Profile has now changed.

Adding a New Profile

By default, there is only one System Profile: the Default profile. This profile has no values, therefore no global delta change to the Tracking Parameters' Settings.

To add a new profile:

  1. Go to System Menu>Settings>System Settings>System Profiles.
  2. In Edit mode, select the Add System Profile button (plus).
  3. The Add System Profile window will open. Name and ID your profile. Select OK.

  4. The new profile will appear in the System Profiles table. Select Save. Currently, it will be as blank as a Default profile, so you must next configure the profile.

Configuring a Tracking Parameter Profile

  1. Enable the Config Function, then select a Tracking Parameter in the Configuration Tree.

  2. In the Configuration Panel, select Profiles.

  3. A new window, Tracking Parameter Profiles, will appear.
  4. If no profile has as yet been added, the table will be empty, because the Default profile does not appear, as it is locked from configuration. Default values will always be 0.
  5. However, in this example, we have added a new profile. Select New Profile in the table, then select Add.

  6. The Tracking Parameter Profile delta options will appear. Input your global delta changes.

    1. Plot Amplitude ATI (pwr):
