  1. Click the Add Label button:

  4. A label will appear on the map with its given name.

  5. You can move the label around the map using left-click+drag with your mouseand you . You can also update its available parameters as displayed above properties whilst it has been chosen for editing.

To alter the location of the label, simply select click on the white point and drag it to a new location.  If

If you are unhappy with the editing, you can click Cancel and this will undo the last changes.

Deleting a Label

  1. To delete a label, make sure ensure you are in Edit mode. Select the label by selecting it from either the map or object list and pressing the delete and click the Delete button:

  2. A confirmation dialog will be displayed:

  3. If Yes is selected, then the label will be deleted. If No is selected then it will not be deleted and you will be returned to the map.

  4. Click Save to save the changes.

Ruler

There is another feature which will label a distance on the map.

To do this:

  1. Click the Ruler button on the Configuration Options:

  2. A red line will appear on the map with a distance specified:

  3. You can then move the points around the map to suit where you would like to display a distance between one point to the other by clicking on the white spot and dragging it into position:

  4. The distance will be automatically updated for you.
