Version 3.7.0 Build 750 - 26 Feb 2016

New Features

  • Dedicated debris detection system. The new debris system looks for small stationary objects at short to medium ranges. The debris detection is handled by a dedicated processing channel that uses its own very slowly updating clutter map to ensure stationary objects do not disappear too quickly. These objects are examined and measured over several sightings to identify whether the object is genuinely debris.

  • New Sentinel option to restrict radar data overlay to a single radar at a time. This is a Highways England requirement to forcibly restrict network bandwidth usage.

  • Added new minimum blob weight for ATI parameter to the regional tracking parameters. This is a useful feature that allows tracking ATI to be adjusted on an area by area basis using the weight of the track. Currently this option is only available in plot extraction and therefore is a global parameter per channel (not area based). This new feature allows this parameter to be used in different areas and therefore reduces the need to choose between a minimum weight of 1 or 2 - you can have both depending on what is required and where.

Improvements

  • Added signal strength to the advanced database track query.

  • Added target weight to the advanced database track query.

  • Added track weight to the numeric and area movement rule options. This allows rules to trigger based on the number of cells which make up a track.

  • Added weight, total strength and average cell strength to the track history display.

  • Added new default demo kit configuration for use with the demonstration installation option.

  • Added Knots speed display option for Sentinel.

  • Improved ONVIF interface to handle cameras which do not report their position.

  • Improved database interaction for debris detection to allow a linear drop in frequency of recordings based on the length of detection. This is particularly useful when the debris system is enabled alongside track holding.

  • Improved classification system to use a predefined list of models. This had previously been a list of text names which could be changed and cause the classification to fail. This should have no impact on earlier configurations.

Fixes

  • Fixed database track query to ensure it works with the severity filter.

  • Fixed memory usage problem when switching multiple Sentinel radar data overlays on and off.

  • Fixed a problem with the source override in Bloodhound where the override settings were being saved back to the main configuration.

Classification Configuration Update

The new classification list should automatically map over the top of the old classification models without further intervention. However, if an installation is using custom classification models then these models will need to be updated to match the options available in the new fixed list of classification types.
