NAVTECH RAS3 radars are designed to meet the IP69K Ingress Protection Rating, however this protection is dependent on the way the radar is stored and installed.

Damage resulting from the Ingress of water and or dust will not be covered by our warranty if these instructions have not been adhered to.

Vent Plug

Navtech radars are shipped with a breathable vent plug fitted.

Please do not remove the vent plug. The vent plug allows for the relief of pressure build-up as well as increased reliability of sensitive electronics, reduction of condensation in the enclosure and a reduced risk of premature seal failures.

Please keep the area around the plug free from any debris that might block it.
