From a moving vehicle (8Hz refresh rate)

The radar datasets below were acquired from a CIR radar, configured for an 8Hz update rate, mounted to the roof of a test vehicle.

In the first set of recordings, the vehicle was driven along a short, open-road route at around 16m/sec; turning round half way through the recording and returning along the same route.
Alongside the raw recorded radar data, dashcam footage and timestamped vehicle position and attitude data are available for download via the links at the bottom of this page.

The second set of recorded data presents the radar’s view of its' surroundings from the same vehicle, making a circular route around a village where the radar’s field of view presents a greater number of close-in objects.

Playing back the radar data as a TCP stream is done using using the playback utility.

Contact industrial.automation@navtechradar.com if you would like to evaluate a radar supporting this refresh rate in your application.
