Introduction

When logging in and periodically, you are recommended to check the status of the system.

Contents

Checking Status

Check the Alarm Status Indicator bar placed towards the top of the screen. It will flash the colour of the highest severity threat of all of the current and pending, system and security alarms.

Notifications, Alerts & Indicators

New Notification: This displays a new notification for approximately 10 seconds. All notifications will be saved within the Notification Dropdown List until they are cleared.

Alert Overview: Alert Overview icons are optional, and will display the number of Live Alarms and System Alarms.

Alarm Indicators 🔴: The severity of the alarm will be represented through a colour-coded circular icon. Red: Threat status/severity. Orange: Warning status/severity. If there is more than one alarm, then the most severe of them will be indicated. If there is no colour indicator displayed, then there are no alarms.

We will discuss Alarms in more detail on the Alarm Management page.
