Introduction

This section labels the main aspects of the AdvanceGuard® Mobile Client display.

The behaviour of the AdvanceGuard® Mobile Client will reflect the configuration of the AdvanceGuard® application. For example; a user logged into the Mobile client will have the same permissions as in the main application. Unlike the main Windows application, these permissions cannot be set using the Mobile client, they must be configured in the main client.

Follow Target

A camera can be selected to follow a target on the Mobile client in two ways:

2. Left click a target to open the Track Info Panel, and then click on the Not Following option to change the setting to Following:

3. The system will then set the most appropriate camera to follow the target whilst it is within the range of one or more of the radar:

Moving a Camera

A camera will return to follow targets if there any breaking rules or return to its home position after a manual move. Both options will happen after the dwell timeout which is configurable on the camera settings in the main application.

This will open a Timeout dialogue which has the same time out settings as the Entity Timeouts in the main application. The user can then select the desired timeout period of 5m to 125m; after which the area will automatically revert to the previous state. The Immediate option bypasses the timeout and indefinitely fixes the area at the selected state.

In the example below, the Path area has been disarmed, so the alarm will no longer be triggered by a target in that area:
