This page covers the SafeGuard™ Configuration Application PPI. Here you will be able to connect to view the live data and to edit the Alarm Areas.

To select an area you can click on the area on the PPI, or by selecting the area tab on the Area Rule Configuration section of the Settings page.
Click the Edit icon:
The outline of the area in edit mode will display green circular Area Points and square purple Nodes:
You can then move the Points using the mouse by left clicking and dragging them to create the desired shape (this will also update the X and Y coordinates in the Settings tab):
To add a an Area Point right mouse click on a Node. A new area Area Point will appear with two new Nodes (in purple) either side:
You can then drag the new point to the desired location.
To remove a Point, right mouse click on an area Point. The point will be removed and the area will redraw appropriately.
Note: There is validation, so changing a point to an invalid point, the system will not change the bearing, but it will change the radius.
Once you are happy with the desired area shape click the Save icon:
Alternatively, if you wish to cancel your amendments click the Cancel icon:
Alternatively, you can edit each of the points by changing their X and Y coordinates within the Area Rule Configuration section of the Settings tab:

Data Points (any peaks above threshold values) are shown as red dots on the PPI.

The live data on the PPI can be paused with the Pause button:
