Some systems may have been configured to have a Static backgroundimage if, for example, they do not have access to the internet. Please refer to Adding a Background Image for further information.

If this is the case, and you have the correct permissions, you may add this image to your background, by following these steps:

  1. Open the System Menu, select the User to open the User Details screen.

  2. Click on the Background Display tab and click Edit:

  3. Select Display Background Image and click Save:

  4. Close the User Details screen and there will be a new Map Opacity option within the PPI Navigation Control:

  5. Moving the slider to the right will make the background image more visible:

  3. Select the desired Background Map Type. In the example below Google Map has been chosen:

  4. You can then select the Google Map Tile Type: Displaying a Map

  5. Then click Save.

  6. Close the User Details screen and there will be a new Map Opacity option within the PPI Navigation Control:
