This section documents the two tools that help a user visualise clutte rmap behaviour. The visualisation tool provides a 3D image of recorded radar data. The standard Navtech sensors are not able to measure elevation so instead we use power as our 3rd dimension. This means objects that generate a strong return appear higher within the 3D image. This effect provides a surprisingly accurate representation of targets and surrounding clutter enabling users to better visualise what is happening in the raw data and to analyse the impact of the clutter map.
