New Features

  • WIT-2885 - Add Canary Plugin for OPC Integration.
    This new plugin contains a wide range of features effectively allowing Witness to host an OPC UA server through Canary to output complex alarm and health data. OPC is used in a wide range of industrial and traffic management applications and this plugin will allow us to easily integrate with other OPC UA systems in these applications. The new plugin can be selected for install through the Witness installation process. For details on using this new plugin, please see: Using the OPC Server Plugin
  • WIT-2893 Add Nearby Queue detection logic in Speed Rules. This brings it in line with other carriageway rules to alleviate false alarm issues caused by reflection from queues.
  • Add support for AGS-HDR124 radars.

Improvements

  • Improve Milestone Integration plugin to enable the use of multiple Milestone cameras as a single Witness camera for alarm playback, manual control, and track overlay purposes. This is useful for cameras which have more than one camera on the same PT head e.g. the FLIR PT-Series cameras.
  • WIT-2880 - When saving the PPI location, the current PPI rotation is also saved.
  • Radar ranges are now always rounded to nearest metre.
  • WIT-2886 - Add Carriageway data to ICD-001 Track and alarm reports - Section User Id, Lane User Id and Carriageway Name. Please see Using the ICD-001 Plugin for updated ICD-001 documentation and schema files.
  • Witness Installer now also installs Milestone prerequisites automatically and provides a zip package for easy installation of the Milestone Client plugin if the Milestone Canary plugin is selected.
  • WIT-2891 Add ability to allow rule processing when either numeric properties in Area Movement Rule are met rather than requiring both.
  • WIT-2892 Add custom extension to CAT-10 protocol to support output of advanced classification data. For details, please see: Using the Asterix CAT-10 Protocol

Fixes

  • Fix when updating IP Address on a radar the old address is sometimes incorrectly sent to the UI.
  • Fix on screen ruler label behaving incorrectly when Sentinel PPI is rotated.
  • Fix "Outside" break condition on rule numeric properties not being triggered when it should be.
  • Fix "Maintenance mode with pedestrian" allowing classification rules other than pedestrian rule to trigger.
  • Fix rare bug where downloading Open Street Map tiles using very fast internet sometimes fails to update the on screen map.
  • Fix distance calculation using Lat/Lon returning wrong results at very large distances.
  • WIT-2889 Fix Tracker IP and Port in Sentinel editable outside edit mode
  • Fix Speed Rule show area in alarm not showing area in alarm
