Before a Playback Track can be created, it is necessary to change the Track Engine Provider Type, as a Playback Track cannot function alongside tracks from live data. To do this:
Under the Topology tab, select the Track Engine Window that contains the Radar Sensor allocated to the stretch of carriageway the Playback Track will travel along.
In the Topology Panel, select Edit, and then open the dropdown list of Provider Type options.
Select Playback All Track, then select Save.
Create a New Playback Track
Now a Playback Track can be created:
Under the Config tab, the PPI Display should now include a Playback Tracks Controls Panel.
In the Entity Panel, select Playback Tracks, and then select New in the Configuration Panel.
Select New Playback Track to open the Create New Playback Track Wizard.
Name the Playback Track, then select Finish.
The Playback Track will appear on the PPIas a horizontal plum line:
Use Standard Creating and Editing - https://navtechradar.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TUN/pages/206602339/Creating+and+Editing+Entities#Standard-Area-and-Shape-Manipulation to edit the plum line into the pathway the Playback Track will take, along the carriageway.
Configure the Playback Track settings in the Configuration Panel (see below), then select Save.
By default, the Playback Track pathway will not be hidden; appearing as a dashed red line on the PPI:
Next, use the Playback Tracks Controls Panel to Play, Pause, Rewind and Stop the Playback Track.
It is possible to create multiple playback tracks played simultaneously:
To enable or disable particular tracks, select or deselect the Enabled option and Save:

A Playback Track can also be cloned from a track's history during a Track Query -ClearWay™ Track Queries:
In the Results Panel, select the history of the track to be cloned.

The Track Details window will open. Select Clone Track.

The new Playback Track will appear in the Configuration Tree and on the PPI Display. It will be named after the track it was cloned from.
