Alongside the raw radar data, GPS data in NMEA format was collected. Camera footage from an onboard GoPro was also collected and is . Both are provided below.
The clear image that can be built up from radar data, as shown below, demonstrates how Navtech sensors could be used in autonomous berthing systems on a range of vessels.
Playing back the radar data as a TCP stream is done using using the playback utility.
