Home Icon: Returns the PPI Display to the home view, and resets the rotation of the PPI Display to 0.0°. 

Pan Arrows: These pan the PPI Display along the points of the compass, in small increments.

You can also use your mouse scroll wheel to zoom the PPI Display in and out, in small increments.

Rotation Arrows: You can use your mouse to rotate the PPI Display by -10° (left arrow) or +10° (right arrow) on each click.

Rotation Slide: Alternatively, you can use the slider to rotate the PPI Display. By default, the initial rotation is at 0.0°.

In the example below, the default rotation is at 0.0°:

The coordinates on the bottom right are always from the perspective of the radar.

Area Alarms Panel

The Area Alarms Panel shows the alarm status via an alarm indicator for each area through a colour-coded circular icon. If an indicator turns from green (OK) to red (not OK) then an alarm has been given.

Up to six configured Alarm Areas will be displayed on the PPI. These are outlined in white. Area Edit Controls

The Area Edit Controls allow you to edit one area at a time.

  1. To select an area you can click on the area on the PPI, or by selecting the area tab on the Area Rule Configuration section of the Settings page.

  2. Click the Edit icon:

  3. The outline of the area in edit mode will display green circular Points and square purple Nodes:

  4. You can then move the Points using the mouse by left clicking and dragging them to create the desired shape:

  5. To add a Point right mouse click on a Node. A new area Point will appear with two new Nodes either side:

  2. You can then drag the new point to the desired location.

  3. To remove a Point, right mouse click on an area Point. The point will be removed and the area will redraw appropriately.

  4. Once you are happy with the desired area shape click the Save icon:

  5. Alternatively, if you wish to cancel your amendments click the Cancel icon:

  6. Alternatively, you can edit each of the points by changing their X and Y coordinates within the Area Rule Configuration section of the Settings tab:
