Up to six configured Alarm Areas will be displayed on the PPI. These are outlined in white. Alarm Areas will only be displayed on the PPI if they have been enabled in the Application Settings: https://navtechradar.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IA/pages/2542862340/Application+Settings#Area-Rule-Configuration.

Area Edit Controls

The Area Edit Controls allow you to edit one area at a time.

To edit an area:

  1. Click on the area and click the Edit icon:

  2. The outline of the area in edit mode will display green circular Points and square purple Nodes:

  3. You can then move the Points using the mouse by left clicking and dragging them to create the desired shape:

  1. To add a Point right mouse click on a Node. A new area Point will appear with two new Nodes either side:

  2. You can then drag the new point to the desired location.

  3. To remove a Point, right mouse click on an area Point. The point will be removed and the area will redraw appropriately.

  4. Once you are happy with the desired area shape click the Save icon:

  5. Alternatively, if you wish to cancel your amendments click the Cancel icon:

  6. Alternatively, you can edit each of the points by changing their X and Y coordinates within the Area Rule Configuration section of the Settings tab:
