Assigning the Radar

  1. Under the Topology tab, your available Track Engines should already have been located and displayed. A Track Engine with a healthy connection to the system will be edged in green.

  1. Maximise the window, using the ⨁ button.

  1. Search for the desired radar in the filter search if a large number of sensors are available. Drag the radar from the Unassigned Items panel into the Track Engine window. You can drag multiple radar at once be selecting them whilst holding down the Shift key. There will be a x(No.) label underneath the radar graphic as you drag it showing how many radar have been selected.

  1. Once the correct radar are within the Track Engine window, they will initially have a grey circular icon beside them. This means the Track Engine has not as yet connected to the radar.

  1. Once the Track Engine has connected to the radar, the icons will turn a healthy green.

  1. If, however, the connection between the radar and the Track Engine should ever deteriorate, the icons will turn a warning amber, and finally red. An alarm will sound, and you will be notified of this disconnection.

  1. The icon next to the Track Engine title represents the health of both the radar and Track Engine connection. The fill represents the radar health, whilst the outline represents that of the Track Engine. The System Information on the right hand side of the pane is for Memory, CPU and Diskspace. More information on Track Engines is available on the Topology page.

  1. If at any point you wish to un-assign radar from a Track Engine, press the Unassign All Items button.

  1. To search through a database of all radar sensors, both unassigned and assigned, use the command Ctrl+Alt+F on the Topology tab.
