This section labels the main aspects of the AdvanceGuard® Web UI display.

The behaviour of the AdvanceGuard® Web UI will reflect the configuration of the AdvanceGuard® application. For example; a user with a set of user permissions in the application, will have those same permissions in the Web UI.

System Menu: Opens or closes the System Menu.

System Mode: The current selected System Mode. This also acts as a selector so that the user can change the current mode.

System Profile: The current selected System Profile. This also acts a selector so the user can change the current profile.

PPI Navigation Control: Controls to help navigate around the map display, including pan (if the Home Style is set to Full) and return to the origin.

Alarm: Opens or closes the Alarm Panel.

Notifications: Notifications will show for a short period before disappearing.

This will open or close a moveable dialogue to navigate to parts of the site. Double-clicking an entry will automatically move the map to show the location of the entity.

This offers the following map styles:

Map: The default map

Satellite: Google Satellite Map

Terrain: A terrain map.

OSM: Open Street Map

This allows the choice of a simple or full PPI Navigation Control:

Simple: The user can navigate using keyboard or mouse and return to the origin:

Full: The user can also navigate around the map using the pan arrows:

Recent Tracks: This offers a view of tracks from 5 minutes to 48 hours ago. Selecting a particular track will display track data.

Recent Alarm Tracks: This offers a view of Alarm tracks from the last 5 minutes to 48 hours ago. Selecting a particular track will display track data.

Clear: This will clear the screen of selected tracks.

Alarm: Opens or closes the Alarm Panel. If there are active alarms, then the alarm symbol will be red. If there are no active alarms, then the symbol will be black. The Alarm Panel will show the following fields for each Alarm:

Severity: Defines the severity of the rule broken by that track.

Alarm ID: A unique alarm identifier.

Description: Description of each alarm.

Created: When the alarm was triggered.

Cleared: When the alarm was automatically cleared if the system is configured to automatically clear alarms.

Actions:

  • Locate: Select locate to automatically pan the map to show the location of the alarm.

  • Acknowledge: This will remove the alarm from the list if the setting is enabled.

Live alarms will appear in the Live Alarms list as they are triggered.

The pending acknowledgement list shows all alarms which have been cleared but not acknowledged.

This tab will only be available if the Auto Acknowledge setting has been disabled in Settings > System Settings > Alarm Options.

When acknowledging an alarm the following dialogue is displayed if the Require Acknowledge Details flag has been set in Settings > System Settings > Alarm Options, thereby also allowing the user to make any notes if necessary:

These are typically health and configuration alarms which are only raised if a problem has been detected with the overall operation of the system.

This can be changed by clicking on the camera:

This will load the Camera Dialogue. The user can change the Operation Mode setting by clicking on the Automatic label to change it to Manual Override and vice versa:

A camera can be selected to follow a target on the Web UI.

1. Left click a target to open the Selected Target dialogue:

2. Click on the Not Following option to change the setting to Following:

3. The system will then set the camera to follow the target whilst it is within the range of the area:

It is also possible to move the focus of a camera (outlined in pink):

By right clicking the spot that you wish to aim it at:

The user can Alarm or Disarm and area by left clicking it:

This will activate the Radar Area dialogue. The user can change the area type from Alarmed to Not Alarmed (and vice versa), by clicking on the Alarmed or Disarmed button:

This will open a Timeout dialogue which has the same time out settings as the Entity Settings in the main application. The user can then select the setting:

In the example below, the Path area has been disarmed, so the alarm will no longer be triggered by a target in that area:
