Navtech ICD-001 Protocol

This Interface Control Document (ICD) describes the structure and sequence of data for communication between the current Navtech software systems and third parties. The data protocol is based on the eXtensible Mark-up Language (XML) as defined by the World Wide Web consortium (www.w3.org).

The ICD is primarily concerned with the reporting of key system data, including alarms and track data, generated by the Navtech software and sensors.

This protocol is based on the latest version of Witness software. Earlier versions of the application may not support all the message content outlined in this document. Please check with the support team at Navtech Radar who can clarify what your version supports.
