Introduction

The page discusses the Database Services tab.

This page is only available if the Replica Set is configured.

Database Services

This tab displays a list of databases within the system:

Availability: This shows the health status of the database service; green for available, amber for unavailable (these will inform the health of the topology tab which shows a similar icon at the top).

Role: This shows the role of the database. i.e. Primary, Secondary, Arbiter etc.

Cluster Id: The Cluster Id of the databases.

Server Address: The address of the individual replica set or database.

Last Update: The date and time of the last update of the health status.

Last Operation: The date and time of the last operation.

Uptime: The cumulative hours that the database has been running.

Changing Primary Database

This action instructs the primary of the replica set to become the secondary. After the primary steps down, eligible secondaries will hold an election for primary.

To do this:

  1. Click the update button:

  2. A Replica Set Step Down notification message will popup. Click OK to proceed:

  3. The primary server has now changed to a former secondary and a secondary has now become the primary:
