Clutter Parameters

Introduction

Clutter Parameters allow you to create up to 8 Clutter Areas which change the Clutter Map Time and the Clutter Slow Decay settings within the Clutter Map settings for the Debris and Advanced Settings for each tracker.

This changes those settings on an area by area basis.

Overview

An example of this useful feature can be seen in ClearWay™ during situations where queues are in progress. When the queue drops, we often get false tracks where targets, such as trees, become visible to the radar again. By holding the clutter data for longer, there is more time before the clutter value will drop below the threshold, causing an alarm when the clutter jumps back up, once the queue has cleared. Clutter Areas allow you to reduce this problem.
