Introduction
Once the Witness client has started you can log into the system.
This section covers how to do this.

Logging into AdvanceGuardĀ®
Once the Witness client has started the System Login screen will be displayed:
Enter the IP address of the Management Server.
Enter your User Name.
Enter your Password.
Click the Login button.
Assuming you have supplied the correct details then the client will connect and login and the main application window will be displayed.

User Group Roles
The user roles provide the following capabilities for changing settings:
Administrator: This role allows users to edit and change all settings within the system.
Engineer: This role allows users to view and edit most settings. This role cannot add new items or delete existing items.
User: This role does not allow users to view or edit settings.
