Echodyne Panels
Introduction
We have the functionality to add Echodyne Panels to the Web Planner Tool. This type of radar is particularly useful for detecting drones and compliments AdvanceGuard® ground radar. Please refer to: https://navtechradar.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TUN/pages/2301231531 for more information.

Adding an Echodyne Panel
To add an Echodyne Panel to the map, ensure you are in Edit mode, then:
Click the Add Echodyne Panel button:
The Add Echodyne Panel dialogue will open:
Choose a name that is meaningful for the situation and click the Create button:
The Echodyne Panel will be created:
You can them move the panel into its desired position on the map by using left-click+drag with your mouse.
Echodyne Properties
Name: The name you have chosen for the Echodyne Panel.
Hidden: This option will completely hide the panel on the map and will also not be used when tracing the detection.
Font Size: This controls the size of the text that is displayed when labels are shown. The drop down allows for a font size between 10 and 20 points, with 10 being the default size.
Display Label: This controls if the label is displayed on the map. By default it is selected.
Colour: This option displays a colour picker that will allow you to choose the colour of the Echodyne Panel. By default it is red.
Stroke Size: This selects the size of the outline of the Echodyne Panel. It is 2 by default.
Panel Rotation: This controls the rotation of the panel in degrees. You can alter this by sliding the curser under the Panel Rotation number:
Editing an Echodyne Panel
Once an Echodyne Panel has been created, it can be edited.
To do this:
Click the Edit button:
You can then choose the panel to be edited by selecting it from the Properties list or by clicking on the panel itself:
If the panel has been hidden you will have to select it from the Properties list.
Deleting an Echodyne Panel
To delete an Echodyne Panel, you first must be in edit mode, then select the Echodyne Panel you wish to delete and click the Delete button:
A dialog will appear:
Select Yes to delete the panel from the scenario (if you choose No, you will be returned to the editor).
The panel will be removed from the map. Click Save to save the changes:
