To create multiple POIs alongside a carriageway:

  1. Enable the Config Function, then select the carriageway in the Configuration Tree.

  2. In the Configuration Panel, open up the Actions dropdown. Select Create POIs.

  2. The Create or Import Points of Interest wizard will open. Select a layer and a group for the POIs to be placed on and in, and the type of POI.

  2. If New Group is selected, the New Group will need to be named, and will appear under the carriageway entity on the Configuration Tree.

  2. Select Next.

  3. Configure the POIs' placement:

    Carriageway: Select the carriageway on which the POI will be placed.

    Start From: Select a section for the POI placement to start at.

    Place POIs on Left Side: Select to place the POIs on the left side of the carriageway. By default, they are placed on the right side.

    Name: The name of the POIs. You can use POI # (NUMBER) as a replacement string for a numerical name. 

    Description: The description of the POIs that appears when a POI is selected on the PPI. You can use A POI at (DISTANCE)  as a replacement string for a description based on distance from the first POI.

    Interval (m): The distance, in metres, between the placement of each POI.

    Offset (m): 

    Offset From Edge (m): The distance between the carriageway and the POI placement beside it.

  2. Select Finish.

  3. The new POIs will appear on the PPI. In this example, they were placed in the Default Group under the POI folder on the Configuration Tree.
