Sealing of the RJ45 (Ethernet) connector

 The RJ45 connector on the radar unit only meets the IP67 standard when either:

a)  The Ethernet cap cover and its gasket (inside the cap) is are properly fitted to the base connector.

Orb)  The supplied RJ45 cable is fitted, with the RJ field plug shroud assembly and seal , supplied with is fitted to the radar.

If using cables not supplied by Navtech Radar then suitable sealing shroud caps must be fitted at all times. For information or questions please contact. navtech.support@navtechradar.com

Vent Plug

Navtech radars are shipped with a breathable vent plug fitted.

Please do not remove the vent plug. The vent plug allows for differences in air pressure during shipment, particularly if we ship by air freight, and while on site during normal operation.
