New Features
- WIT-2885 - Add Canary Plugin for OPC Integration.
This new plugin contains a wide range of features effectively allowing Witness to host an OPC UA server through Canary to output complex alarm and health data.
OPC is used in a wide range of industrial and traffic management applications and this plugin will allow us to easily integrate with other OPC UA systems in these applications.
The new plugin can be selected for install through the Witness installation process. For details on using this new plugin, please see: Using the OPC Server Plugin
Improvements
- Improve Milestone Integration plugin to allow using multiple Milestone cameras as a single Witness camera for alarm playback, manual control, and track overlay purposes. This is useful for e.g. physically connected infrared and normal cameras.
- WIT-2880 - On saving PPI location, also save current rotation.
- Radar ranges are always now rounded to nearest metre.
- WIT-2886 - Add Carriageway data to ICD-001 Track and alarm reports - Section User Id, Lane User Id and Carriageway Name. Please see Using the ICD-001 Plugin for updated ICD-001 documentation and schema files.
- Witness Installer now also installs Milestone prerequisites automatically and provides a zip package to easy installation of the Milestone Client plugin to be extracted into the Milestone software's folder if Milestone Canary plugin is selected.
Fixes
- Fix issue of when IP Address on radar the old address is sometimes incorrectly sent to UI.
- Fix on screen rule label behaving incorrectly when sentinel PPI is rotated.
- Fix "Outside" break condition on rule numeric properties never being triggerable.
- Fix Maintenance mode with pedestrian still allowing other classification rules to trigger.
- Fix rare bug where downloading Open Street Map tiles using very fast internet sometimes fails to update on screen map.
- Fix distance calculation using Lat/Lon return wrong results at very large distances.
