A radar demonstration kit will be provided in a robust box as shown below If the box is secured by a padlock, the code to release the padlock will be the four digit (short) radar serial number. If you need this number providing, please contact industrial.automation@navtechradar.com.

Navtech Radar model CIR-DEV or CIR-DEV-X
The model variant most suited to your proposed application will be discussed in advance of any demonstration kit being shipped to you. Typically, the CIR-DEV-X model is supplied for applications where the radar will be mounted at >2m above ground level, in situations where the radar coverage of objects on the ground is required, with the minimal possible blind-spot. The CIR-DEV model is typically supplied for applications where the customer is looking to implement a collision avoidance system, or using the Navtech Radar inbuilt SafeGuard application.5m radar power and network leads
The supplied network lead is terminated with an RJ45 connector at either end, with a radar-specific shroud on one end, to ensure a weatherproof connection, the supplied power lead is terminated with a radar specific power connector at one end, and bare (tinned) wire at the other.Mains 24V power supply
This is supplied boxed, but unterminated - attach a mains plug suitable for your region and connect the radar power lead to the power supply output if required.Fixings pack
A selection of M8 stainless steel fixings will be supplied within the demonstration kit to secure the radar within a customer’s test environment.Radar target/reflector
The supplied corner-reflector is sized according to the radar’s wavelength to provide a radar-cross-section of 25m². The target is fitted with a 5/8” thread to allow easy mounting to a standard tripod.Paper documentation
The envelope within the demonstration kit will contain wiring/connection details for the unit, along with a printed copy of the radar’s current configuration.
