PPI Map Display: This is the primary map display that provides operators situational awareness across their entire site, offering real time information on targets and incidents.

Alarm: Opens or closes the Alarm panel. If there are active alarms, then the alarm symbol will be red. If there are no active alarms, then the symbol will be black. The Alarm panel will show the following fields for each alarm:

Severity: Defines the severity of the rule broken by that track.

Alarm ID: A unique alarm identifier.

Description: Description of each alarm.

Created: When the alarm was triggered.

Cleared: When the alarm was automatically cleared if the system is configured to automatically clear alarms.

Actions:

Locate: Select locate to automatically pan the map to show the location of the alarm.

Acknowledge: This will remove the alarm from the list if the setting is enabled.

  1. Live alarms will appear in the Live Alarms list as they are triggered:

  2. Select the Locate icon to pin-point the location on the PPI:

  3. Select this button to clear the selected alarm:

  4. This will open the following option allowing the user to change the Clear Duration and to clear the alarm:

The pending acknowledgement list shows all alarms which have been cleared but not acknowledged.

This tab will only be available if the Auto Acknowledge setting has been disabled in Settings > System Settings > Alarm Options.

  3. When acknowledging an alarm the following dialogue is displayed if the Require Acknowledge Details flag has been set in Settings > System Settings > Alarm Options, thereby also allowing the user to make any notes if necessary:

This will load the Camera Info panel. The user can change the Operation Mode setting by clicking on the Automatic label to change it to Manual Override and vice versa:

A camera can be selected to follow a target on the Mobile client in two ways:

  1. Right Click a target to latch a camera. This will force the target to be followed by the most appropriate camera until the latch is cleared:

  2. Left Click a target to open the Track Info panel, and then click on the Follow Target icon to change the setting to Following:

  3. The system will then set the most appropriate camera to follow the target for as long as it’s tracked:

It is also possible to move a camera (outlined in pink) to view any part of the site.

  1. Clicking on the desired location on the map:

  2. Click the spot that you wish to view:

  3. A camera will return to follow targets if there any breaking rules or return to its home position after a manual move. Both options will happen after the dwell timeout which is configurable on the camera settings in the main application.

If no camera is selected, then the Camera Controller will select the most suitable camera to view the selected location. This will depend on a number of factors including range, configured camera areas and availability. If a camera is selected then this will be the camera that is used to view the selected location.

The user can Alarm or Disarm an area:

  1. Left Click an area and select the Arm / Disarm option from the area Info panel:

  2. This will activate the Radar Info panel. The user can change the area type from Alarmed to Not Alarmed (and vice versa), by clicking on the Alarmed or Disarmed button.

  3. This will open a Timeout dialogue which has the same time out settings as the Entity Timeouts in the main application. The user can then select the desired timeout period of 5m to 125m; after which the area will automatically revert to the previous state. The Immediate option bypasses the timeout and indefinitely fixes the area at the selected state.

  4. In the example below, the Path area has been disarmed, so the alarm will no longer be triggered by a target in that area:
